Some time ago Apple found it’s self in trouble over a new iPad not being able to connect to the Australian 4G network provided by Telstra. Since my last post 2 updates have arrived from Acer. I have no details of the fixes however things seem to work better now. Lock now takes around 4-6 minutes if I have not used the GPS for a few days. I think the original as purchased version was corrupting the Almanac and that’s why it was taking 20-30 mins […] Read more »
First a correction from yesterdays post. I mentioned the SD 2nd slot. In fact I have since found out that on the A500 it may just be a slot with no connector as it is where the Sim card goes in the W500. It would help if Acer or the manual mentioned this.
