Since my last post I have purchased a new Android Telstra NextG Blue Tick Phone. The model is TELSTRA LG OPTIMUS SPRIT LG-P690F pre paid $149. Since my last post 2 updates have arrived from Acer. I have no details of the fixes however things seem to work better now. Lock now takes around 4-6 minutes if I have not used the GPS for a few days. My last report on GPS time to acquire a fix was 10 days ago. The Iconia Tablet has been indoors with GPS turned off all the time since a fix 10 days ago. Today I used the GPS Status & Toolbox application from Eclipsim to reset the cache so that I could start from square one with new Almanac data. It was raining heavy so I could not go outside to get a fix so I left it in the window. It took around 40 mins to get a lock. After 30 mins […] Read more »
