My last report on GPS time to acquire a fix was 10 days ago. The Iconia Tablet has been indoors with GPS turned off all the time since a fix 10 days ago. Today I used the GPS Status & Toolbox application from Eclipsim to reset the cache so that I could start from square one with new Almanac data. It was raining heavy so I could not go outside to get a fix so I left it in the window. It took around 40 mins to get a lock. After 30 mins […] Read more »
The GPS seems to be working fine. In my previous blog I mentioned that and others have reported the GPS was slow to find Satellites.
